Karate Training for Juniors Age 8 - 13

Martial arts for juniors is great for building confidence, increasing attention levels and physical fitness.

We offer a safe environment that challenges our children while teaching respect and courtesy. The traditional nature of our dojo helps children find inner focus and increased concentration abilities, which often improves results at school.

True confidence is developed by overcoming challenges and feeling a sense of having worked hard to achieve a goal. Our program is designed to help students achieve their best.

Karate Training for Juniors Age 8 - 13

We do not teach dangerous skills to irresponsible people.

When students grade they not only are asked to show their best karate skills; in order to test they need their classroom teacher to sign a letter saying that they are getting satisfactory grades and that they are cooperative and respectful in school.

Their parents must sign a similar letter stating that they are cooperative and respectful at home, along with a one week duty list that is designed to start to develop self discipline - our ultimate goal.

In our school we closely follow the training methodology set out in Karate Canada's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program. This ensures that students get age-appropriate training designed to help them achieve the best they can, both mentally and physically.

Karate training at our dojo has many advantages:

  • Build confidence
  • Improve concentration & fitness
  • Train in a traditional martial arts environment
  • Respect is infused into all aspects of our training
  • Closely follows Karate Canada's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program

Code of our dojo (dojo-kun):

Seek perfection of character
Be faithful
Endeavour
Respect others
Refrain from violent behaviour

Parents may use our gym at no cost while their children are training.
