Traditional Shotokan Karate Training

The word Karate is made up of two words "kara" meaning empty, and "te" meaning hand. "Karate-Do" means the way of the empty hand.

One of the most obvious benefits of Karate training is physical fitness. Karate is one of the few forms of exercise that combines stretching, strengthening, and aerobics.
